It reads the headline and nothing else — not the article, not the exposure, not whether the move is already priced. It is there so the eye stops at the right row, and it is not a signal.

IPO review — apply, skip, avoid

Sunday 27 September. Nothing on the board has moved since Friday's close — the exchange was shut, so every subscription figure below is the same one the 26 September review carried, and the grey-market quotes have not been re-read. The calls are unchanged and are repeated here rather than left on yesterday's page, because tomorrow is the day they are acted on: Moneyview and A-One Steels close, SRIT India and Shah Investor's Home open. Expected listing is the GMP percentage less 2.6 points — the overstatement backtest_gmp measured over 295 listings (r = 0.87). Applied so far: Adroit Industries sHNI on 23 Sep (listed, sold); Moneyview HNI on 24 Sep; Orient Cables on 25 Sep. Held: NSE, 120 shares at ₹1,785 — still untracked, still without a stop, into a market that turned Downtrend on Thursday.

Read the books again on Monday before applying. The two issues closing tomorrow have one day left and the QIB column is where it will show: institutions bid on the final day, so Moneyview at 0.25x and A-One at 0.09x are not yet verdicts. Orient Cables at 0.01x with two days left is the one to watch — on a ₹552 Cr issue, a QIB book that finishes under 1x means retail and HNI carried it alone, and that is a listing to sell into rather than hold. German Green Steel still has a grey-market quote and no exchange book matched: the two sources name the company differently and a name is never guessed at.

Most filings are housekeeping — meetings, trading windows, newspaper copies. Only the categories that can move a price are flagged. The exchange's own category is kept verbatim rather than mapped onto our vocabulary, so a new one shows up unfamiliar instead of silently becoming 'other'.

This is the source a news search is not: a filing is dated, typed, keyed on the NSE symbol, and legally required. Searching news for RRKABEL the same day returned a festival marketing story twice and a two-month-old AGM notice.
